Israeli Ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon responded to the US imposition of new sanctions on Iran saying:
"Iran's terrorism and human rights violations could be stopped by imposing suffocating economic sanctions. The world must unite together with Israel and the United States, and stand against Iran to prevent Iranian money from reaching Iran's terrorist proxies."
