"The National Law does not actually infringe equality of rights in the State of Israel, but it scorns the principle of equality and the Jewish state, MK Benny Begin (Likud) said at a conference held at the Faculty of Law of the University of Haifa.
"If the words - and to uphold equality of rights for all its citizens - were added to the Nation-State law it would solve many problems both in feeling and in practice," said MK Begin.
