Deputy Minister Michael Oren met this morning with a delegation of 500 American Jews and called on them to put political differences aside and support United States President Donald Trump's peace efforts.
Writing in Hebrew on Twitter, the former ambassador to Washington said, "I explained to them that the administration is deeply committed to the security and preservation of Israel as a Jewish and democratic state, and although the peace plan may contain difficult concessions, it is good for Israel, to the Middle East and to the US."
