The Nature and National Parks Protection Authority has told the Honenu legal-aid organization that organizers of the summer's lesbian gay bisexual and transgender protest against surrogacy legislation misled the public when they included the authority's logo in a listing of companies and organizations that ostensibly supported the protest.
Responding to a petition by Honenu, the authority said it granted employees a discretionary day off to take part in the protest, according to labor law.
