Chairman Eitan Cabel of the Knesset Economic Affairs Committee has responded to the repeated malfunctions on the train line from Jerusalem to Ben-Gurion Airport by saying, "Every day that passes, we understand that the train to Jerusalem is an election farce and nothing more."
Cabel added that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz "preferred a public-relations picture on the escalator at the expense of the lives and safety of the passengers. This project is one of the biggest failures of recent years."
