Chairman Yossi Klafter of the of the Committee of University Heads responded today to Education Minister Naftali Bennett's statement that "the university cartel has been broken."
Professor Klafter said, "An academic year has never been opened with a statement that includes such blatant and inflammatory remarks by the education minister." He added "Minister Bennett is choosing to create an internal conflict with the institutions and the people for political purposes."
