In a meeting with Israeli President Reuven Rivlin in the Copenhagen Synagogue Danish Prime Minister Lars Rasmussen said:
"Denmark that saved the Jews 75 years ago is the same Denmark today. It's the past, it's the present and it's the future. Assaulting Danish Jews is an assault on Denmark as a whole."
