The Southern District Attorney's Office has filed an indictment in the Be'er Sheva District Court, charging Suleiman Kadi, a resident of Gaza about the age of 20, with offenses against state security, including providing service to a terrorist organization, offenses prohibiting the use of property for terrorist purposes, transporting weapons, rioting, sabotage with aggravated intent that constitutes a terrorist act.

During 2017, Kadi allegedly took part in the smuggling of hundreds of sacks of ammunition, explosives and motorcycles for use by Hamas. The indictment also states that from March this year until his arrest, two and a half weeks ago, Kadi participated in riots held in the framework of the March of Return near the border fence between Israel and Gaza, east of Rafah, using a slingshot to launch stones and Israel Defense Forces soldiers and vehicles, and causing damage to the barrier. In May, Kadi allegedly participated with others in breaking into the Gaza side of the Kerem Shalom border crossing, causing great damage to the facility and stealing gasoline, which was used to burn tires.
