The Palestine Liberation Organization mission in Washington has been closed permanently after the time allotted for its closure by the American authorities ended.
A month ago, the United States announced the closure of the mission, against the backdrop of Palestinian Authority opposition to returning to the negotiating table and its attempt to initiate proceedings against Israel at the International Court of Justice in The Hague.
