Over the past two hours, thousands of cranes have crossed the Israeli-Lebanese border on their migratory flight from Europe to Africa and filled the north with their voices, according to the Israel Public Broadcasting Corporation.

Reports from Metula, Kiryat Shmona, Dan, Kfar Szold and Kfar Blum on voices in the dark as the cranes migrate day and night. In the coming days and weeks, tens of thousands of cranes are expected to pass over the Upper Galilee, many of them stopping at the Hula Valley Nature Reserve.
