Yesterday (Friday), the Chief of the General Staff, Lt. Gen. Gadi Eisenkot, the Commanding Officer of the Southern Command, Maj. Gen. Herzi Halevi and the Commanding Officer of the Gaza Division, Brig. Gen. Yehuda Fox, held a situation assessment with the commanders at the Gaza Strip border and toured the area.
The Chief of the General Staff expressed his great appreciation to the troops and commanders, which who deal with the security challenges of the Gaza Strip on a daily basis, and allow the residents to live their lives safely.
