A 62-year-old woman was extradited from Cyprus to Israel on Thursday at the request of the State Prosecutor's Office in Jerusalem, in order to allow her to be tried.
The woman is suspected of abusing her son, shackling him with chains and starving him until he was taken out of her custody by court order. The son died during their stay in Cyprus.
