The Water Authority has decided to continue to restrain water use in 2019 in order to prevent further deterioration of the state of water resources in Israel, due to the five-year-old drought, and in light of the severe condition of the natural water sources.
According to the professional estimates of the authority in a recently-conducted summary of the natural and manufactured water resources to determine water allocations, 2019 may be a little better than 2018.
