President Reuven Rivlin has protested to German Chancellor Angela Merkel about a new wave of anti-Semitism that is emerging in Europe.
Speaking at the beginning of a meeting at the President's Residence in Jerusalem, Rivlin said, "There is no such thing as loving Israel and hating the Jews - we must show zero tolerance for anti-Semitism and racism, which could lead to terrible things. We appreciate your efforts to burn historic memory into future generations."
