The senior adviser to Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman announced on Wednesday that he is resigning from his position as public affairs and digital media consultant to allow the appointment of his mother, Prof. Talia Einhorn, to a committee to approve senior appointments in the civil service.

Lieberman told Einhorn that he accepted his decision with regret but with understanding.

It should be noted that Einhorn's appointment will enable the convening of the committee to appoint senior officials and discuss candidates for the post of Chief of Staff and the next General Director.
