Kan reported that the Movement for Fairness and Justice petitioned the High Court of Justice demanding that the results of the elections to the Chief Rabbinate Council held a month ago be canceled.
The movement claims that the Chief Rabbi of Israel, Yitzhak Yosef, and the Minister of Religious Services' Advisor David Amar, acted to distort the election process by virtue of their position and worked towards the election of the "Ten Deal Rabbis."
