The Shin Bet arrested a number of terrorists who planned to carry out a terror attack in Judea and Samaria.

According to the investigation, Issa Shalaldeh, age 21, and 'Omar Mas'ud, 20, activists in the Hamas student cell at Bir Zeit University, were recruited by Hamas military wing in the Gaza Strip to carry out attacks and aid in the transfer of terrorist funds.

It also transpired that during the course of their enlistment, they underwent various military training.

The two have recently been charged with links with terrorist elements and members of a terrorist organization.

In the context of his interrogation by Hazem Hamayel, a 24-year-old resident of Samaria, he allegedly contacted a Hamas official who used a fictional Facebook profile, who taught him how to organize a terror attack.
