Member of Knesset Anat Berko (Likud) said, Monday evening, "The time has come for UNICEF [the United Nations Children's Fund -ed] to deal with the Palestinians' use of children as human shields, incitement that poisones their minds... Palestinian children are victims of the Palestinian leaders. Of course, these are not the private children of the terrorists."
She was responding to word that Secretary-General Saeb Erekat of the Palestine Liberation Organization has sent a letter to UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres urging him to list Israel as a state that “violates children’s rights” in its annual report on children and armed conflict.
