Minister Tzachi Hanegbi said in an interview with Army Radio in regards to the situation on the Gaza Strip border, that:
"We are not interested in escalation, but we will not allow an infringement of Israeli sovereignty."
Hanegbi, who was the Israeli official at a fundraising forum for Gaza, said that "we will not help promote reconstruction in Gaza without news about the prisoners in Hamas hands"
