The White House announced Wednesday that Andrew Bremberg, who has served as Domestic Policy Council Director in the Trump Administration for the last two years, is being nominated as the new US Ambassador to the Office of the United Nations and Other International Organizations in Geneva .

The White House stated: "Mr. Bremberg currently serves as Assistant to the President and the Director of the Domestic Policy Council for the Executive Office of the President. Managing a team of policy experts, Mr. Bremberg oversees the development of public policy on a wide array of critical issues while coordinating with numerous cabinet agencies. He has had a long history of public service including as Policy Advisor and Counsel on Nominations for the Office of Senate Majority Leader from 2014 to 2015. He worked for the non-profit MITRE Corporation as a senior health policy-analyst and department manager from 2009 to 2014 and for the Department of Health and Human Services from 2001 to 2009. Mr. Bremberg earned a B.A. from Franciscan University of Steubenville in Ohio and a J.D. from Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C."
