Security inspectors at the Trans-Samaria Crossing thwarted an attempt to smuggle weapons into Israel last night.
A 22-year-old Israeli driver was detained for questioning after he raised the suspicions of the inspectors. During the ensuing examination, an improvised Carlo submachine gun and an electric shocker were found in his vehicle.
