MK Ksenia Svetlova (Zionist Union) reacted to a report by the Russian Defense Ministry blaming Israel for the downing of a Russian aircraft by Syrian anti-aircraft fire.
"It seems that the close friendship between President Putin and Netanyahu apparently does not really help us in a crisis, and Israel will now need far more than Netanyahu's smiles to continue to enjoy freedom of action in the skies of Syria in order to protect our existential security," she said.
