In response to a statement by Chief of Staff Maj General Gadi Eizenkot that there is a high chance of increased violence with Arabs, MK Anir Peretz (Zionist Union) wrote on Twitter that:
"Eizenkot like all the heads of the defense establishment warn against Israel's failures and there will be a price to pay.
Those who refuse to speak to Abbas will find themselves without a peace partner.
Eizenkot isn't speaking about protocol. Tomorrow Benyamin Netanyahu and the cabinet should meet to make decisions to change the situation not just manage it."
