A group of young people from East Jerusalem, who led violent confrontations on Temple Mount on July 27, after Friday prayers, was arrested as part of a Shin Bet investigation conducted in recent weeks in cooperation with the Israel Police.
At the same time, a group of terrorists was shown to have purchase fireworks, which were later were smuggled onto Temple Mount and used to attack security forces in the area at the end of Friday prayers.
Four policemen were injured in the violent incidents.
