The Hasidic Committee of Eight has decided that despite the absence of support from Degel Hatorah and Shas, Agudat Yisrael's candidate for mayor of Jerusalem, Yossi Deitch, will not leave the race for the time being.
It appears that if Deitch does pull out or fails to qualify for the second round, Agudat Israel's support will go to Ze'ev Elkin.
