The London-based pan-Arabic newspaper Ash-Sharq Al-Awsat reports that intelligence sources in Iran did not feel that Israel would attack Latakia because of the presence of a significant Russian presence in the area.
According to the report, Iran has established several warehouses and factories in Latakia where weapons have been developed and manufactured.
