United Hatzalah volunteers treated approximately 2,500 people over the course of Yom Kippur.
Of those treated many suffered weakness or fainted due to the fast. A large number of patients were treated in Synagogue by the volunteers who were praying there and had brought their medical equipment with them in case of emergencies.
