Member of Knesset Oded Forer (Yisrael Beiteinu) said on Monday that he will present a bill to prevent the reduction of a third of a sentence for security offenses and the early release of security prisoners.
He was responding to the shortened punishment and resulting release order for collaborators for terrorists who carried out the attack at the Damascus Gate to Jerusalem's Old City, in which Border Guard Hadas Malka was murdered. Forer called the decision "An outrage, nothing less. It's not enough that they get short sentences, and in the end they also release them early."
