Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin at Russia's Black Sea resort of Sochi, against the backdrop of Russian bombing of the Syrian province of Idlib, near the Turkish border.
At the outset of the meeting, Erdoğan said, "I believe not only the region, but the whole world is riveted to our meeting today. The statement we will make here after the meeting in Sochi will give new hope to the region."
