The Health Ministry is warns that measles is feared from several flights that landed in Israel recently, specifically last Wednesday's flights PS101 and 779 of Ukraine's airline.
The ministry said that those who were on those flights and who are at risk for contracting measles should consult immediately with a doctor and receive a vaccine if necessary. It also said that there is a reasonable concern that one who was sick with measles on the flight could infect other passengers. It was recommended that passengers who had been on these flights and have feverish illnesses during the following two weeks immediately go to the doctor for follow-up and treatment and report that they were on a flight with a measles patient.
