The Jerusalem Magistrate's Court has ordered the extension of the detention of the defendant who has violated a legal order and refused to grant a get to his wife during the past 18 years.
According to the 2000 indictment, the defendant is refusing to obey the court's order to give a divorce to his wife. Today the court decided that as long as the defendant continues not to comply with the court order he will be detained until the end of the proceedings.
