Yesterday evening, a report was received by the police's emergency hotline about a vehicle swerving on Route 85, endangering other drivers. A conference call was held with the informant in order to locate the vehicle as quickly as possible.

Upon receiving of the report, traffic police officers blocked the traffic in the direction of the vehicle, which was transferred to police in the area. The police managed to locate the vehicle and arrest the driver on Highway 85 in the north.

When the driver was examined, there was a sharp smell of alcohol from his mouth. According to an examination of the alcohol level performed on the driver, he was found to be under the influence of alcohol in the amount of 463 mg.
