In the past 24 hours, more than 15,000 people have arrived to pray at the Tomb of the Patriarchs in Hebron on the occasion of the Ten Days of Repentance. This is an increase in the number of worshipers after 10,000 people who arrived last year.
"Security forces, have increased security level for this period of time, to allow the prayers to be held securely without incident," the IDF Spokesperson was quoted as saying.
