The Israel Defense Forces said a violent riot broke out, which included the throwing of stones, when a military bus entered the Kalandia refugee camp at the northern end of Jerusalem by mistake.
As a result, a female IDF officer and two other soldiers were lightly wounded. The security forces fired into the air to disperse the disturbance. The transport left the refugee camp and the officer taken to hospital. The circumstances of the incident will be examined.
