Chairman Avi Dichter of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee has rejected a proposal to examine the early release of terrorists who received life sentences.
The former head of the Shabak Israel Security Agency said, "The very thought of issuing an order that frees such a murderer to his home, harms deterrence, invites terror, and I will work to prevent it by any legal means, including the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee."
