In an interview with Army Radio, Pelephone CEO Ron Guron apologized to customers for the off and on disruptions to service in recent days.

"At the moment, the network is gradually returning to normal, and this morning's incident is unrelated to a certain type of customer and is nearing its end," he said. "Since the beginning of the event on September 2, we have been upgrading the communications, Pelephone is updating its subscriber base database, which allows them to make calls, and we have moved almost all the customers."

"We assessed that the system is stable but we did not announce a return to normal because the parameters were not stable from our point of view, and the decision we made yesterday with HP to return to the previous system that is still active." He added that "there is a possibility that there will be more network failures in the coming days. We are aware of the necessity of cellular service, and Pelephone's network is fast, good and stable, I am not committed to a date but I estimate that we can achieve stability within a few days, in which there may be other events," Guron finished.
