Minister for Social Equality, Gila Gamliel (Likud) welcomed the US decision to close the PLO delegation office in Washington DC. The Minister was quoted as saying:
"The Palestinians' attempts to bring about Israel's international isolation prove that Abbas is the problem, not the solution: Israel must respond quickly to Palestinian aggression and act decisively to strengthen and develop the settlement enterprise of Jewish communities in Judea and Samaria. "
