According to a report by the NGO Palestinian Media Watch, Commissioner of the PLO Political and National Guidance Authority Nasser Nimr Ayyad, blamed the prevalence of drug use in PA-controlled territory in Judea and Samaria, on Israel, saying:
"Israel is behind efforts to flood the Palestinian street with drugs"
