The European Union published a statement condemning the High Court of Justice ruling on the rejection of petitions against the demolition of the illegal town of Khan al-Ahmar.
"The EU member states reiterate their longstanding position on Israel's settlement policy, which is illegal under international law, including the destruction of Palestinian communities and the forcible transfer of the population."
"Khan al-Ahmar is located in a sensitive area in Area C, which is of strategic importance for preserving the continuity of the future Palestinian state," the statement said.
