News 2 journalist Menachem Horowitz has told the Shevii magazine, to be distributed this Shabbat in synagogues, "In the coming year, I will be entering public life."
Horowitz has been at News 2 and its predecessor Channel 2 for many years. Before that, he was Israel Defense Forces Radio's corresondent in the north. Former Labor chairwoman Shelley Yechimovich, Yesh Atid Party Chairman Yair Lapid and Yesh Atid Member of Knesset Ofer Shelach were all journalists before they were elected.
