Starting today, Israeli police officers will be added to the wording of the prayer recited in synagogues for the safety of soldiers in the Israel Defense Forces.
The Chief Rabbis of Israel, Rabbi David Lau and Rabbi Yitzhak Yosef, made the change in responce to a request by Minister of Public Security Gilad Erdan.
