The Central District Court partially accepted on Thursday the request of Yedioth Ahronoth and ruled that the trial of those accused of involvement in the arson deaths in the Samarian Palestinian Authority village of Duma would be held in open court.

However, the court held hearings that include testimonies of Shabak Israel Security Agency agents and protocols of interrogation methods will be held behind closed doors. The significance of the decision is that the interrogators' testimonies regarding their interrogation methods that were heard during the just-concluded mini-trial will not be revealed to the public. A number of confessions have been dismissed because of those methods.
