Chairman Yoav Kisch of the Knesset Interior Committee is holding a discussion on the establishment of a commission of inquiry to investigate the cancellation of Gal Hirsch's appointment as police commissioner.
Kisch said, "An attempt to thwart an appointment is a threat to democracy and a violation of state security. There is a leak here of a secret and sensitive document, and I ask the police commissioner to act to find out this leak." He added, "We must investigate the Gal Hirsh case in depth, and I hope we will not find anything."
