The United Nations envoy to the Middle East, Nickolay Mladenov, blasted the High Court of Justice's approval to evacuate the Bedouin village of Khan al-Ahmar, located in Area C north of Ma'aleh Adumim, and claimed that the operation was illegal according to international law.
In a tweet published on Twitter, the envoy said that "the UN has previously called on Israel to stop the demolition of the village and attempts to relocate Bedouin population in the West Bank." He added that "these demolitions are undermining the two-state solution and are contrary to international law."
