An Israel Hayom survey found widespread ignorance among Israeli youth regarding basic issues.
The survey found that half of the students did not know what the Green Line was, and almost half didn't know what the bible was. About two-thirds of the respondents did not know that Israel's creation was ratified on November 29, 1948.
In addition, only 30% of eleventh and twelfth graders succeeded in accurately writing the first four lines of the national anthem Hatikvah.
