In a post on Twitter, Defense Minister and chairman of the Yisrael Beiteinu Party, Avigdor Liberman praised the High Courts decision in regards to Khan al-Ahmar, writing:
"Khan al-Amahar will be evacuated! I congratulate the High Court decision on a bold and courageous decision against an unceasing attack by Abbas, the left, and Europe. No one is above the law. No one will prevent us from exercising our sovereignty and our responsibility as a state."
