The contractor whose buildings were demolished won a tender to build the new neighborhood in Beit El, Israel Hayom reported.
In July 2015, after a long legal battle, two uninhabited four-story buildings were demolished in Beit El, the buildings were named the "Drienoff Buildings" after the contractor who built them.
They were demolished on orders of the High Court of Justice because they were built on private Palestinian land without a building permit and without a valid master plan.
