On Tuesday afternoon, the Attorney General addressed the opening session of the Israel Bar Association's annual review of the Military Advocate General's decision to open an investigation against IDF soldiers for two shooting incidents along the Gaza Strip border.
"This decision of the Military Attorney General was made by virtue of his position as the person responsible for the rule of law in the IDF, and it his under his responsibility to order the opening of an investigation where there is a reasonable suspicion that an offense has been committed."
