Head of the Hamas terror organization, Yahya Sinwar has said during a conference that: "So far there is no agreement and no draft agreement for a cease-fire with Israel,"
He also said in regards to riots on the Gaza border over the last year that: "Gaza did not want to stand idly by in light of the transfer of the American embassy to Jerusalem, and the Palestinian people succeeded in turning this provocation into an opportunity to confront the Israeli enemy."
