The chairman of the Joint List Party, MK Ayman Odeh, met with EU foreign minister Federica Mogherini and asked the EU to denounce the national law and call for repeal of the law.
"I appreciate Moghreini's willingness to meet, although there were those who tried to stop it," MK Odeh said after the meeting. "I see great importance in the European Union's support in our struggle to abolish the national law. To discover that the foreign minister shares our concern that the law harms first and foremost Arab citizens, but also democracy and the possibility of establishing a Palestinian state and the chance for peace, " said Mk Odeh.
